Every year on the 4th of July, we kick off the day with a pancake breakfast — always in our comfiest pajamas, always surrounded by fresh berries, and always with music playing in the background. It started as a simple tradition, but over time, it’s become one of our favorite family moments. Our daughter loves stacking her pancakes sky-high and creating her own “flag stacks” with strawberries and blueberries.
