  • 1 Tsp Paprika
  • 1/2 Tsp Cayenne pepper (optional, for a spicy kick)
  • 1/2 Cup Hot sauce (such as Frank's RedHot)
  • 1/4 Cup Unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 Tbsp Honey (optional, for a touch of sweetness)
  • 1 Tsp Soy sauce (optional, for depth of flavor)
  • Chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
  • Ranch or blue cheese dressing

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the Oven:
    Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.
  • Prepare the Wings:
    In a large bowl, combine the baking powder, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper. Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels and toss them in the spice mixture until evenly coated.
  • Bake the Wings:
    Arrange the seasoned wings on the wire rack in a single layer. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes to render the fat and start the crisping process.
  • Increase the Temperature:
    After 30 minutes, increase the oven temperature to 425°F (220°C) and continue baking for another 40-50 minutes, or until the wings are golden brown and crispy. Flip the wings halfway through to ensure even cooking.
  • Prepare the Sauce:
    While the wings are baking, prepare the sauce. In a small saucepan over low heat, combine the hot sauce, melted butter, honey, and soy sauce. Stir until well blended and heated through.
  • Coat the Wings:
    Once the wings are done baking, transfer them to a large bowl. Pour the hot sauce mixture over the wings and toss until they are evenly coated.
  • Serve:
    Transfer the sauced wings to a serving platter. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve with ranch or blue cheese dressing on the side for dipping.
