Equipment

  • Juicer or Citrus Press: For extracting juice from oranges, lemons, and possibly pineapple if you're not blending it.
  • Blender or Food Processor: To puree the strawberries and possibly blend pineapple if you're not juicing it.
  • Strainer or Fine Mesh Sieve: Optional, for straining out seeds or pulp from the strawberry puree or other juices if you prefer a smoother texture.
  • Large Pitcher or Punch Bowl: To mix and serve the punch. A pitcher is ideal for smaller servings, while a punch bowl is great for parties.
  • Measuring Cups and Spoons: For accurately measuring liquids and sugar.
  • Mixing Spoon or Whisk: To stir the ingredients together until the sugar dissolves.
  • Knife and Cutting Board: For slicing fruits for garnish or if you're preparing fresh pineapple.
  • Ice Cube Trays: if you're making fruit ice cubes or regular ice.
  • Glasses or Cups: For serving the punch. Consider using clear glasses to show off the vibrant colors.
  • Refrigerator or Ice: To chill the punch or keep it cold if serving immediately.
  • Optional - Zester: If you want to add citrus zest for extra flavor.
  • Optional - Garnish Tools: Like a mint sprig holder or fruit skewers for presentation.
  • Optional - Sparkling Water: If you're adding it, you'll need a bottle or can of sparkling water.

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Fresh orange juice (about 2-3 oranges)
  • 1 Cup Fresh pineapple juice (about 1/2 pineapple)
  • 1 Cup Fresh strawberry puree (about 1 Cup strawberries)
  • 1/2 Cup Fresh lemon juice (about 2-3 lemon)
  • 1/2 Cup Granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 4 Cup Cold water
  • 1 Cup sparkling water (optional for fizz)
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves, for garnish
  • Sliced fruits (orange, lemon, strawberries) for garnish

Instructions

  • Prepare Your Juices:
Squeeze the oranges and lemons to get fresh juice. You can use a juicer or do it by hand for that authentic touch.
For the pineapple, blend chunks and strain to get the juice.
  • Blend the Strawberries:
Blend strawberries until smooth. Strain if you prefer a seedless punch.
  • Mix the Punch:
In a large pitcher, combine orange juice, pineapple juice, strawberry puree, and lemon juice.
Add sugar and stir until it dissolves. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
  • Add Water:
Pour in the cold water and stir well. If you're using sparkling water, add it just before serving to keep the fizz.
  • Chill:
Refrigerate the mixture for at least an hour to let the flavors meld together.
  • Serve:
Fill glasses with ice, pour the punch over, and garnish with fresh mint leaves and fruit slices.
