Ingredients
- 2 Tsp Matcha powder
- 1 Cup Hot water (not boiling): Boil water and let it cool slightly before using.
- 1 Cup Milk of choice: Almond milk, oat milk, or regular mil all work well.
- 1-2 Tsp Honey or maple syrup
- Ice cubes: as need to fill your glass
Instructions
- Prepare the Matcha:Sift 2 teaspoons of matcha powder into a bowl to remove any clumps.
- Mix with Hot Water:Add 1 cup of hot water (around 175°F/80°C) to the bowl. Whisk vigorously in a zigzag motion until the matcha is fully dissolved and frothy.
- Sweeten the Matcha:Stir in 1-2 teaspoons of honey or maple syrup until fully dissolved.
- Prepare the Glass:Fill a tall glass with ice cubes.
- Combine Matcha and Milk:Pour the prepared matcha over the ice. Then, slowly add 1 cup of your chosen milk.
- Optional Froth:For extra creaminess, froth the milk before adding it to the glass.
