Equipment

  • Large Pitcher or Drink Dispenser – To mix and infuse the sangria properly.
  • Sharp Knife & Cutting Board – For slicing fresh fruit.
  • Citrus Juicer – To easily extract fresh lemon juice.
  • Measuring Cups & Spoons – For accurate ingredient portions.
  • Mixing Spoon or Stirrer – To blend all ingredients smoothly.
  • Fine Mesh Strainer (Optional) – If you prefer to strain out seeds from fresh fruit.
  • Wine Glasses or Stemless Glasses – For serving in style.

Ingredients

Ladle (If Using a Punch Bowl) – For easy serving.

  • 1 bottle 750ml dry rosé wine (choose a crisp, fruity variety)
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries plus extra for garnish
  • ½ cup strawberries sliced
  • ½ cup pomegranate seeds optional but adds a nice crunch
  • ½ cup elderflower liqueur such as St-Germain
  • ¼ cup raspberry liqueur such as Chambord, for deeper flavor
  • 1 tablespoon rose water for a subtle floral essence
  • 1-2 tablespoons honey or simple syrup adjust based on sweetness preference
  • Juice of 1 lemon for a bright, citrusy balance
  • 1 cup sparkling water or club soda for a refreshing fizz

Garnish & Extras

  • Fresh mint leaves
  • Edible rose petals optional, for an elegant touch
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Fruit

  • Wash the raspberries, strawberries, and pomegranate seeds. Slice the strawberries into thin pieces so they infuse well into the sangria.

Step 2: Mix the Base

  • In a large pitcher, combine the rosé wine, elderflower liqueur, raspberry liqueur, rose water, lemon juice, and honey (or simple syrup). Stir well to dissolve the honey completely.

Step 3: Add the Fruit

  • Toss in the raspberries, strawberries, and pomegranate seeds into the pitcher. Gently stir everything together so the fruit begins to absorb the flavors of the sangria.

Step 4: Chill and Let It Infuse

  • Cover the pitcher and let the sangria chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours (or up to overnight). This allows the fruit to infuse into the wine, creating a richer, more vibrant flavor.

Step 5: Add the Sparkle

  • Right before serving, stir in the sparkling water or club soda to give your sangria a refreshing fizz.

Step 6: Serve and Enjoy

  • Fill glasses with ice cubes, then pour the sangria over the ice. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and edible rose petals for a sophisticated presentation. For extra flair, you can also add a few whole raspberries on top.
Cheers to a beautiful, refreshing drink! 🍷✨

Make Ahead and Storage

This Raspberry Rosé Sangria is a perfect make-ahead drink! Here’s how to prepare and store it properly:

Make-Ahead Tips

  • For the best flavor, prepare the sangria 6-12 hours in advance and let it chill in the refrigerator.
  • If making ahead, wait to add the sparkling water until serving to keep the fizz fresh.
  • You can also freeze some raspberries and strawberries ahead of time to use as fruit ice cubes—they’ll keep your drink cold without watering it down!

Storage Tips

  • Leftover sangria? Store it in an airtight container or pitcher in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
  • The fruit will continue to infuse the wine, making it even more flavorful over time! However, after 48 hours, the fruit may become too soft and the wine might lose its freshness.
  • If you need to revive the flavor, add a splash of fresh rosé or a bit more lemon juice before serving.
