Step 1: Prepare the Crepe Batter
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, and salt.
In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until well combined.
Slowly pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, whisking continuously to prevent lumps. The batter should be smooth and slightly runny.
Let the batter rest for at least 15-30 minutes (or up to overnight in the fridge). This helps the flour absorb the liquid, resulting in softer crepes.
Step 2: Cook the Crepes
Heat a non-stick skillet or crepe pan over medium heat. Lightly grease it with butter or oil.
Pour about ¼ cup of batter into the center of the pan, tilting the pan in a circular motion to spread the batter evenly into a thin layer.
Cook for 1-2 minutes, until the edges start to lift and the bottom is lightly golden.
Flip carefully using a spatula and cook for another 30 seconds to 1 minute.
Transfer the cooked crepe to a plate and repeat with the remaining batter, stacking the crepes with parchment paper in between to prevent sticking.
Step 3: Assemble the Crepes
Spread a generous layer of Nutella over half of each crepe.
Arrange sliced strawberries on top of the Nutella.
Fold the crepe in half, then fold it again to form a triangle or roll it up into a log shape.
Dust with powdered sugar, drizzle with extra Nutella or chocolate sauce, and top with a dollop of whipped cream if desired.
Step 4: Serve & Enjoy!
Serve these Strawberry Nutella Crepes warm with your favorite toppings—extra strawberries, a sprinkle of cocoa powder, or even a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a dessert-like twist.
